This notice tells you how the Edinburgh Climate Commission will collect and process your personal data when you access this website. Throughout this Notice, “Edinburgh Climate Commission”, “we”, “our” and “us” refers to the Edinbrugh Climate Commission Secretariat which administers the work of Edinburgh Climate Commission.

 

Where we got your personal data from

  • From you: we collect personal data from the form on the ‘Keep in touch’ page of our website. The uses of this data are indicated on the form. We may also collect personal data on paper forms at events, for feedback or follow ups relevant to that event.
  • From external sources: we use Eventbrite to market our events. Read the Eventbrite Privacy Policy.

 

Notifications and newsletters

By subscribing to our ‘Keep in touch’ form you are giving consent to the receipt of email notifications from Edinburgh Climate Commission about activities, news and events related to Edinburgh Climate Commission.

You may unsubscribe at any time by following the relevant link in the email and on the webform, or by emailing Edinburgh Climate Commission.

 

Data storage

The information that you provide to Edinburgh Climate Commission will be stored securely and access will be restricted to members of the Secretariat.  Only data essential for contacting you about news, events and activities will be held, and for as short a time as possible.
